Pill-Rolling Fingers book launch in Avondale

The book launch will be hosted by Avondale’s ‘Whau the People’ and will include a special poetry group performance, as well as live music.

The launch of poetry book “Pill-Rolling Fingers” will be hosted by Whau the People at ALL GOODS Community Art Space in Avondale. The event will bring voices together through a celebration of community, resilience, and the power of shared stories.

There will be live music, Parkinson’s awareness displays, and refreshments. There will also be a special poetry performance by a group of people with Parkinson’s who took part in the Placing Unheard Voices research.
